Noreen Likimani
Noreen Likimani is a proactive Program and Community Manager with 15 years of experience in cross-functional teams encompassing merchandising, marketing, advertising, inventory management and supply chain, both domestic and international. She is currently the Business Manager at MBM Africa.
This 2-time Founder is passionate about building entrepreneurs, and partnerships, supporting startups and empowering the youth and women with expertise in client services and relationship-building in Africa. Noreen has successfully run over 10 Boot Camps with Techstars and FoundersBoost (formerly Startup Boost) and participated as a judge for several accelerators – Pangea Accelerator, The Leila Janah Foundation, Generation Unlimited and UNICEF to name but a few.
She is currently working in Kenya, advising businesses at various levels on how to develop operational strategies that support their go-to-market initiatives. Pre-Covid, Noreen organized and managed women-focused entrepreneurship programs under SWWE Kenya.
Her role at MBM Africa has allowed her the opportunity to empower and shift the lives of young people – mostly women through uniquely designed programs and later on as an advisor in the preparation of their investor conversations.
In 2019, Noreen had the opportunity to run the Nairobi Innovation Week, was a judge in the global Gen Unlimited and run 5 countrywide bootcamps. She is now running women and youth-centric boot camps for aspiring future entrepreneurs and building an ecosystem to support women in tech. Despite her busy schedule, she has given her time to grow our cohort 1.0 of Sheworks 2022/23 as a mentor.
